Investigation report on supervision and spot checks of Tiger Tiger brand products in the first quarter of 2010 by Zhejiang Shaoxing Industry and Commerce Bureau

Recently, our company received a product inspection report from the Shaoxing Industrial and Commercial Bureau in Zhejiang Province during the first quarter of 2010. The report revealed discrepancies between the information on the product label and the actual fabric composition of the clothing item. Below is the detailed inspection report:

Upon receiving the report, we took it very seriously and immediately initiated an internal investigation to understand the situation thoroughly. We are committed to transparency and have pledged to provide a clear and responsible response to all concerned parties.

According to the test results, the label indicated that the garment was composed of 55% acrylic and 45% cotton. However, the actual composition found during testing was 43.2% acrylic fiber, 39% cotton, 16.2% nylon, and 1.6% spandex. After reviewing the situation, we confirmed that the discrepancy originated from the supplier. It appears that the supplier provided incorrect fabric specifications to our production team, leading to the mismatch in labeling.

The supplier explained that within the same batch of wool products, they added spandex and nylon to certain areas such as the cuffs, hem, and collar to prevent deformation. Unfortunately, they forgot to update the ingredient list accordingly. This oversight led to the error in the final product labels.

In response to this issue, we made a firm decision to recall the affected batch of products from all retailers. We also held both our internal team and the supplier accountable by implementing strict measures and penalties. While this problem did not pose any health risks to consumers or children, it exposed significant gaps in our quality control and product management processes.

We are taking this matter very seriously and will learn from it to ensure that such issues do not occur again. Moving forward, we will strengthen our quality assurance procedures and maintain a higher standard of responsibility toward our customers and partners. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and are committed to improving our practices continuously.
